  1. Muscle Recovery: Cold plunging can help reduce muscle soreness and inflammation after intense physical activity by constricting blood vessels and reducing blood flow to the muscles1.

  2. Improved Circulation: The cold exposure causes blood to rush to your core, which can improve overall circulation and cardiovascular health2.

  3. Boosted Immunity: Regular cold plunging may enhance your immune system by increasing white blood cell count2.

  4. Mental Clarity and Mood Enhancement: The shock of cold water can release endorphins, which are natural mood enhancers, leading to improved mental clarity and reduced stress2.

Etiquette for Cold Plunging

  1. Always shower before entering the plunge

  2. Check in with the front desk and let them know you have arrived

  3. Start Slowly: If you’re new to cold plunging, begin with the warmer plunge (around 55 degrees) and gradually decrease the temperature as your body acclimates1.

  4. Limit Time: Keep your immersion time to 5 minutes to avoid risks like hypothermia or cardiac stress2.

  5. Health Check: Consult with a healthcare provider before starting cold plunging, especially if you have any preexisting health conditions2.

  6. Respect Shared Spaces: Be mindful of others. Clean up after yourself and follow any posted guidelines

  7. Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how your body responds. If you feel dizzy, excessively cold, or uncomfortable, it’s best to exit the water immediately.​
